Please draw us against South Africa ;-)

Please draw us against South Africa ;-)

That has to be the group of life, regardless of who else is drawn.

Please don't pull France or Portugal from pot 4. France, because they're too strong. Portugal, because we've beaten them before, and that would be too boring

Pretty good draw for both the US and England I think. Both should qualify from that group.

It looks like Groups D and G were the ones to avoid. I can't see North Korea's WC appearance being a very happy one. I think Japan have got a Group that they can qualify from.

Now we just have to wait until June.

Japan will have to play top level football to qualify ahead of Holland, Cameroon or Danemark. I see it as a pretty difficult task to be honest.

Well, we have beaten Cameroon on several occasions so we know it is at least possible. Denmark will be a challenge but it is also within reason that Japan could win if they play well. A tough task but by no means impossible. The key will be keeping the score down against Holland, because I get the sense that the other three may all finish with similar point totals. Based on the match in October I cant see much hope of beating them, but a draw isnt out of the question.

In my opinion, the best news is that the other coaches (ie Cameroon and Denmark) know nothing at all about Japan -- they even admitted as much. Any team that comes in focused solely on stopping Shunsuke is going to find themselves in a fix, particularly since I have serious doubts that he will even be in the lineup. Lets just hope they continue to focus on Holland, and assume that Japan is a safe three points.

I am not sure Japan will even get a point. Performances have been poor and I still do not like the coach. Japan bottled the 2006 World Cup, how did they not beat croatia?

Anyway I hope I am wrong I really do, but Holland are very strong, Denmark not bad either and Cameroon are good too.
